THE PASSION FOR CYCLING
Timperley Boneshakers started in 2009 as 7 friends with a mutual passion for cycling. Now, boasting a team of over 50 cyclists between the ages of 22 to 70, we meet three times a week and embark on rides to suit all abilities.
We decided to turn our pastime in to a means of charity fundraising, and as such, have completed many cycling challenges, raising over £270,000 for a variety of causes.
"The Captain" Club Organiser & Founder the Honourable Freeman Burgess of Altrincham Ian Elliott, coordinates the weekly rides and club events throughout the year. Just get in touch if you would like to join us for a ride.

Cardiac Risk in the Young
On 23rd & 24th September 2023, we will be cycling from Timperley to Morecambe 200 miles raising funds in memory of Chloe Waddell, who sadly passed away suddenly 10 years ago. All monies raised will be used to screen young people for heart defects.
